my name is chelsea whitney and i started My rescue journey when my baby Lily (cat, 7 years old) passed away. I soon decided I needed more love in my life but was not ready to adopt. One day i was at la hacendia and that is where my journey began.

I originally started fostering in 2022, with kittens. Which lead me into bottle kittens, which is my all time favorite! about a year later I moved on to dogs. It has been a lot of lessons,whether they were Easy or hard, we are here today!!!

Eventually one day I decided i wanted to take it a step Further than fostering and open up my own rescue! We started pipers Paw’s rescue inc. in january 2025.
